| Champion of Champions qualifiers |

The full list of qualifiers for the Champion of Champions event at Castle Royle on Wednesday, October 27, is now known.
Anyone who won a prize at the six junior competitions held throughout the year qualified. There are 53 qualifiers, representing 33 diffferent golf clubs from 14 of the 15 junior Academies. |

| BB&O GP flags flying proudly at Maidenhead |

The BB&O Golf Partnership now has its own flag ready to fly on flagpoles.
The photo shows our flag and pin flag on the 18th hole at Maidenhead Golf Club during the staging of the sixth and last junior competition of the season. |
| There's no stopping Rebeca Fuentes |

Bearwood Golf Club golfer Rebeca Fuentes has completed a hat-trick of BB&O Golf Partnership junior competition victories.
The 12-year-old who attends the BB&O Golf Partnership Junior Golf Academy at Bearwood Lakes, made it three wins in a row when she stormed to victory in the sixth and last competition of the year at Maidenhead Golf Club on Monday, August 23.

| Coaches first to earn PDS qualification |

The six BB&O Golf Partnership coaches who are the first golf coaches  in the country to gain the PDS Performance Coach qualification have been presented with their certificates. The coaches are Rob Watts (Castle Royle), Stuart Morgan (Mill Ride), David Armor (Abbey Hill), Andy Atkinson (Harewood Downs), Matt Woods (Donnington Grove), and Shay Brennan (Academy coach at Studley Wood). |

| Rebeca wins for second time in a week |

| Rebeca Fuentes (Bearwood) is quickly making a name for herself. In the fifth junior competition at Studley Wood on Tuesday, August 17, she won the girls' under 12 section, just six days after winning the same section at the fourth competition at Mentmore. |

| Course knowledge aids Pestell at Sand Martins |

Local knowledge proved critical as 16-year-old Mike Pestell won the third BB&O Golf Partnership''s Junior Academy competition at Sand Martins Golf Club on Tuesday.
Pestell (17 hcp), a member at Sand Martins, and who attends the BB&O GP Junior Golf Academy at Donnington Grove, romped home in 43 points to win the boys 13 and over category.
He finished three points clear of Matthew Withey (9 hcp) of Beaconsfield GC - a member of the Junior Academy at Waterstock - who took third spot on countback.

| Youngsters impress at Academy open days |

There were some impressive displays at the first two recruitment open days for the 2011 Junior Academy programme.
Coaches Stuart Morgan and Mark Grieve put youngsters through their paces at Mill Ride and Dusan Gavrilovic and Alex Saary oversaw those hoping to gain entry into the academy at an open day at Hadden Hill.
A third open day will be held at Wycombe Heights, On Saturday, September 4. |
